Founder/President

Ian graduated from Dalhousie University in 1999 and started his career as a community pharmacist in Nova Scotia before moving to Ontario in 2001. In 2003, Ian became Shoppers Drug Mart associate with stores in Arnprior and Ottawa, Ontario. After several years, he moved on to look for independent ownership. Ian purchased and relocated Hunt Club Pharmacy in 2010 to the current location where it thrives today. Subsequent acquisitions followed in 2012 with the addition of our Chesterville and Russell locations.

In 2013, we added our Rockland location and most recently in 2016 we acquired our CentreTown and Somerset locations in downtown Ottawa.

Ian currently oversees the day-to-day operations of our locations. Ian is a current member in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacy and Ontario Pharmacist Association.

Julie Gray

Pharmacy Operations
Managing Pharmacist

Julie Gray graduated from the Pharmacy Program at the University of Toronto in 2006. After licensure in 2006, she returned as a staff pharmacist to the rural community pharmacy setting of Chesterville Pharmacy. Julie works in both our long-term care and retail divisions. In 2014, she became the Designated Manager at the pharmacy and began to oversee the daily operations for Chesterville Pharmacy including the initiation of our central fill process.

Julie has training in Immunization and Injection and the CAMH Methadone Maintenance Program.

In addition to being competent with all Ontario pharmacy legislation, Julie is well versed in the Ontario Retirement Homes Act and Ontario Long-Term Care Home Act.

Guillaume Grenier

Partner and VP of Operations

Guillaume graduated from Laval University in 2001. He started his career with Brunet pharmacies in Quebec City. After moving to Ottawa in September 2002, he worked for just over 2 years in Gatineau for Jean Coutu pharmacies.

Since early 2005, Guillaume has been working in the Ottawa area. He has worked for various chains, from Pharma Plus to Shoppers Drug Mart to more recently under the PharmaChoice banner. He occupied many positions from staff pharmacist to pharmacy manager to pharmacy owner.

In addition to obtaining certifications for injections, first aid and methadone maintenance, Guillaume has extensive retail pharmacy and more recently long-term care pharmacy experience.

George Zahalan

Partner and VP of Operations

George graduated from Carleton University, Neuroscience in 2009 and from the University of Toronto pharmacy program in 2013. George has a keen interest in pain management therapeutics as well as mental health/psychiatric medicine. He is a licensed specialized pain practitioner and member of the American Academy of Pain Management.

George has injection, first aid and methadone maintenance training.

George is the on-site owner and pharmacy manager at the CentreTown Pharmacy location where the main objective is Methadone and Opioid Substitution therapy for pain management and addiction. George is also currently managing the Rockland Pharmacy location.

Dan O'Farrell

Pharmacy Operations
Managing Pharmacist

Dan attended the University of Western Ontario with focus in Biology and Physiology before completing his degree in Pharmacy at the University of Toronto. After graduating in 2014, Dan began his career in community Pharmacy as a staff pharmacist with Loblaw Pharmacy in Kingston, Ontario. In 2015, Dan was promoted to pharmacy manager also within Loblaw Pharmacy.

With interest in independent pharmacy, Dan took the next step in his pharmacy career in becoming a pharmacy owner, and the dedicated manager of a community pharmacy, now known as Elgin Drugs. Dan oversees pharmacy operations and serves as a leader in health promotion within the community.

Dan is currently trained in immunization and provides injections within his scope of practice. Dan has special interest in diabetes management and treatment of infectious diseases.
